The Hot Tub is working...sort of.

After much trial and error I think we have the hot tub running now. When I first filled it up I filled it too full. Apparently it has an overflow valve. I thought we had a leak and was so bumbed but it only drained out about 2 inches of water and quit draining. Then it took Jon and I quite a while to figure out that the tub was wired to the shop and not the house. When we turned the breaker on we knew we were getting power to the tub, but it still wouldn't run, So after Jon took apart the panal and so forth I remembered that Lance had said something about the Hot tub wouldn't run unless the door to the pump was shut. so we shut the door and viola it was running. Two days later the tub is still stone cold. We are afraid the element in the heater is crap. But Jon notices a reset button way in the back. We have heat. It only got to about 98 degrees before it topped out. We don't know why we can't get it up to the 104 we want it at but we all piled in for FHE last night and are so jazzed with the tub. So now the deck and bridges have been stained, the fence and flowerpots painted and the hot tub is working. To bad it is turning colder or else we might have felt like we should throw a party. Maybe we still will. Call before you come over.

Okay Okay I finally did it!

Jon is off hunting (again) and since I should be doing all sorts of other things I decided to finally set up my own blog spot and let you all come over and see what silly things me and my family are up to.
